How To Train with Us?
What We Are:
NOTE: OUR WAIT LIST IS APPROXIMATELY 8-12 MONTHS.
The Invictus HQ is a PRIVATE Jiu Jitsu dojo that operates on an invite only or application only. It is a non-commercial martial arts collective that is dedicated to the art of Jiu Jitsu. It is not open to the public for drop ins.
You must apply to to become a member (email us). We will vet your application and place you on the waiting list. Once a spot opens up, we will send you an invite to become a member.
The Invictus HQ evolved from Fierce Martial Arts that ran from 2003 until 2020. Invictus HQ is a dojo in the traditional sense and focuses on the ART of Self Defence. We have decades of experience in teaching the art of Jiu Jitsu.
Specialized Private Training: private lessons are available (based on availability) for specialized training. Contact for details.
Out of Town Guests/Visitors: The Invictus HQ does allow out of town guests and visitors but they must contact us to set up times to visit our dojo. If you are a police officer or someone who is aware of Invictus or Ari, please reach out and email us at info@invictushq.ca
Application to Join: If you are interested in a focused training environment, please EMAIL us info@invictushq.ca to inquire how to get on our waiting list.
- Send us an email letting us know you are interested in training with us. If you were referred, please tell us who and what law enforcement agency you work for.
- We will respond by sending you an application form.
- Email the Application Form back.
- We will tell you where you sit on our wait list.
- If accepted, you will gain access to our member only section with has our schedule, online booking tool and more information.
- We will add you to our private Signal Chat group.
Rules of the Dojo
Student Requirements:
- While we do have civilians that train with us, priority will be given to Law Enforcement Officers for training.
- Students must be dedicated to consistent training. Because space and time are limited, we require a commitment to the art.
- ***Minimum training requirement is 4 classes a month. However, if you are looking for progress, you will need at least 2 times per week. Students who fail to attend the minimum amount per month will be removed from the training rotation.***
- Students must train with purpose and care.
- Students will be vetted and background checked.
- There is a limited space and numbers that can train at Invictus HQ. As such, we have a waiting list.
- The dojo is dedicated to the art of self defence and priority will be given to those who believe in out training philosophy.
